A Slice of Learning: CMS Eighth Graders Create Their Own Pizzas from Scratch
Who needs cold pizza for breakfast when you have Susan Pujals' Family and Consumer Science class?
Eighth graders at CMS made dough on Monday in class. Then, on Tuesday morning, the students added cheese, tomato sauce and other toppings, set their ovens to 425 degrees, and cooked their pizzas for 15 minutes.
One student even made stuffed-crust pizza.
The students then had the opportunity to eat their pizzas before the period ended.
